Maeve is an Industrial Designer and Toymaker. Shortly after graduating from Rhode Island School of Design in 2013, she co-founded Increment, to focus on creating playthings that encourage independence, exploration, and inclusion among all kids, regardless of age, ability, or gender. Increment has been recognized by Core 77, Ashoka Changemakers, Microsoft Youthspark, The Awesome Foundation, MassChallenge, and the John W. Henry Foundation. At Increment, they advocate working through play, and try to keep play alive and well in everything they do. Maeve also self-published a children's book called 'My Cat is a Jerk', in which her cat, Frank, puts her through the pain and anguish of being a pet owner. In spite of the title of the book, she really does like cats (and dogs). Besides her work, Maeve enjoys beer, yoga, and not playing by the rules. And dislikes presentations without images, sitting, and being an adult. Also tomatoes.
