Mac Premo is a visual artist and commercial director who graduated from RISD in 1995. Mac has won 7 New York Emmy Awards for his video and animation work, including awards for best commercial, photography, set design and best public service announcement. He recently co-directed the U2 lyric video with Oliver Jeffers for their song, Ordinary Love. Mac's art has exhibited in NYC, LA, Washington DC, Miami and PS1 MOMA in Queens, and he has initiated and participated in several public art projects in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He wrote, performed and set designed a one-man play, The Luckiest Arab in Belfast which was shown in Brooklyn, New York as well as in Belfast as part of the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival. Mac and his team are currently working with Sanford Shapes on making skateboard decks out of upcycled materials (www.thebucketboard.org). His fine art is represented by Pavel Zoubok Gallery in New York City and he's a proud NYFA fellow. Mac lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two totally radical daughters.
